As a corporate communicator, he or she must know
how to deal with network society who emerging in this digital age. Network
society brings the emergence of new economy. There must be a strategic way on
how to deal with them because now days the marketing strategies are changing in
order to know how to catch the attention of those that stay online most of time
and also they are so many in the digital age. They are different social media
such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and twitter but also in different blogs
and websites.
Online society is that kind of society which is formed by technology based communication or is that virtual community that its members interact with each other primarily via the internet. An online community can act as an information system where members can post, comment on discussions, give advice or collaborate. Many people in these online communities communicate through social network sites, chat rooms, forums, and discussion boards. But also people may join online communities through video games, blogs and virtual worlds.

Also in serving the customers, the company may start an easy way of make customers to buy online, for example how Amazon and Alibaba sell online. So the company may start a program to buy online and this will be an easy way to serves clients. It will reduce the time and cost to them, all this can be done because the technology give people chance to create and design what they want, so in this digital age, everyone needs to save time and cost of going far away to buy some products that may even buy online. This is easy access of the customers to be too close with the company by helping them to save their time and cost through buying online
Therefore, the new ways of serves customers in this digital age, is by designing different online programs that can be used by different customers to communicate and buy products and services easily through different ways. Also in advertising through social media like Instagram, snapchat, twitter and Facebook, the company will serve the customers to get information about the products easily on their technological devices like telephone, tablets, and laptops. All these are the ways to serve the customers in this digital age of science and technology.
The corporate communicator must design an online information system that will help him or her to get many information from those societies about the company’s products and services but also the company itself. The advertising must being send online to those social media and other such as blogs and websites where people may find the adverts.
