All international relations involves politics in one way or another, implicitly or explicitly. The laws of politics though subject to debate among some political scientists, generally refer to regularities of human behavior across time and space. In so far as there is as yet no decisive account or description of cyber politics, the language and concept we use are the familiar ones of politics in kinetic domains. with the creation of cyber space, a new arena for the conduct of politics took shape and a new form of politics emerged.
Politics is the interplay of enforcement threats, which can be changed relatively quickly, with the existing loyalties and compliance habits of the population which are more powerful but which most often can only be changed more slowly.
All politics in cyber or real arena involves conflicts, negotiation and bargaining over the mechanisms, institutional or otherwise to resolve in authoritative ways the contentions over the nature of particular sets of core values. The study of politics is the study of influence and the influential.
In the era of cyber politics the diffusion of communications devices. it is a practice through which individuals and groups use the web to shape identity and perceptions and transform the relations that underlie global politics. Internet activism is largely about raising awareness of the issues concerned and this means getting more coverage than the purely online.
Knowledge networking leveraging the power of networking is the second major imperative for cyber politics in international relations. Many countries especially the developing states may experience difficulty locating knowledge of relevance even when cyber access is assured.
Networking practices help to reduce barriers to knowledge access by drawing on the power of collaboration. among the potential benefits of networking in the domain of cyber politics is extending reach via the networking multiplier. Another benefit of networking relates to managing new demands for knowledge or demands for new knowledge.
